What the tiers mean
Every member and organization carries a tier. Higher tiers mean more checks have been passed.
- Tier 1: Confirmed
The email address behind the account is confirmed.
- Tier 2: Verified
Identity documents were reviewed and approved by our team.
- Tier 3: Fully verified
The organization's registration documents were reviewed and approved. Members of a fully verified cooperative carry its endorsement.
Why you can trust it
Every registration, document review, and decision is written to a tamper-evident audit log. Nothing is verified by a machine alone: a person reviews every document.
Where we are
Phase 1 runs in Tanzania with gold and tanzanite mining communities. The registry is continental by design and grows with its members.
